I'm sure you guys have heard the surrounding craze around the Clinique Chubby Stick. There are definitely mix reviews depending on your lipstick preference. Some like lip products with a moisturizing hint of color or some really like lip products with a tremendous color pay off. Or a hybrid of both. For me, it just depends on the day and what my mood calls for. CCS has a semi-good color pay off. It's a good "everyday casual running errands" kind of lipstick where you just want to look put together but without the effort and fuss! CCS 05 Chunky Cherry is described as "a sheer cherry red," and that it is! It's red but not in your face red; it has more of a pink undertone. It feels moisturizing on my lips, however it does wear off during the day so reapplication is a must.
Next up, one of the most popular fall drugstore lip color I found is CoverGirl Lip Perfection in Euphoria. I stumbled on this when I was out shopping at Walgreens and saw that the brand was having a sale plus I had a coupon! Score! I have never tried CG lip products before therefore I googled the brand to see what other girls' CG lipstick picks were. And to my surprise a lot of them picked Euphoria! Which is great because I was looking for an affordable fall lipstick! CG Euphoria is a very creamy gorgeous purple lipstick with great pigmentation. I love a bold lip color just not a super bold purple lip color. I'm not that brave yet! I just moisturized my lips beforehand and dab the lipstick on and it gives a great pigmented purple tint on my lips without looking scary. Definitely worth checking out for the price!
When I heard Kate Moss was doing a lipstick collection for Rimmel, I was ecstatic! I love her style but obviously her style comes with a hefty price tag. Therefore, I was happy to find that Ms. Moss created this fabulous affordable lipstick collection for frugal shoppers like myself! I searched high and low for these lipsticks but I had no such luck until recently! I went into ULTA and found these bad boys! Well one bad boy and it's 06 Rosetto. I'm not going to lie, what drew me in was her adorable packaging in this sleek black casing with red inscription of her name and a heart! How can you not go awww? C'mon. It's absolutely adorable and chic! It was thee last one on the shelf and I went "mine" like I had a crowd surrounding me and I had to stake my claim. Yeah I'm crazy. Anyway, 06 Rosetto is a beautiful red lipstick with a pink and purple undertone. It's a great color for gals who are starting to venture out and try bold lip colors but still want to be comfortable without feeling too self conscious.
Onto the next, I was out Black Friday shopping with my mom and stopped into L'Occitane to see what deals they had. I stumbled across this lipstick with beautiful packaging! It was definitely not a traditional lipstick packaging you see every day. When I uncovered the top to see what color it was, it was this gorgeous burgundy lip color with hints of gold flecks! Definitely a fall lip staple in my book. And I had quite the deal too! I was able to snag two lipsticks and a freebie. Jack pot!
Last but not least, Revlon is my all-time favorite drugstore brand! They are always on a roll with their beauty products. And continue to amaze me with all their new products! And with the price? Definitely no complaints, however I do have to say they are getting a little steep for an affordable brand. But...I love Revlon nonetheless. As much as I love Revlon, I'm shocked that I have never tried any of their liquid lipsticks! When I saw this on clearance at ULTA, I had to snatch it right up. Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick claims that it can stay on your lips through everything! Which means your man should be happy because I'm sure we've heard their share of complaints of sticky lip glosses and lip stains. 040 Brilliant Bordeaux is a gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous deep red burgundy color! When applied, it's wet but then slowly transition into a matte finish! TOTAL LOVE! It's my favorite color to rock right now. You must check it out! You won't be disappointed!
